All of Year 9 has just returned from their overnight trip to London. The whirlwind tour was punctuated with shiurim and group activities.
They began with a cable car ride over the River Thames after which the girls toured London's iconic sites. They boarded the Thames Clipper and enjoyed a lovely cruise from Westminister to Tower bridge.
The next morning, after a shiur in Golders Green, they saw changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace before having lunch in St James Park. They then walked down the famous Horse Guards Parade, Downing Street and finished their tour with Trafalgar Square. The students were happy for the opportunity to buy souvenirs before boarding the coach to return to Manchester.
Chaya Katz of 9z described the trip as "fun" and "exciting". She said
"The shiurim were extremely inspiring and interesting . . . funny with important messages. we also spent time with our teachers and it was nice to see the other side of them, but most of all we had amazing quality time with our friends. It was a really fun time and I owe many thanks to the school for their amazing hard work that really paid off."
The administration would like to praise the students for their exemplary behavior on the trip, inspiring the coach driver to "compliment the manners of the children and the way they respected the Teachers."
Congratulations to Mrs Berger, Mrs Levy, Miss Cohen, Mrs Steinberg & Mrs Horwich on the resounding success of the trip and the superb experience they supplied for the students. Special thanks to Miss Samet for organising such a wonderful trip.
